All models that are imported must meet the criteria of being a “Specialist and Enthusiast Vehicle”. The criteria is set by the Department of Transport and Regional Services and more information about what models are allowed to be imported can be found on their web site www.dotars.gov.au.
The process of complying a vehicle to Australian Standards involves checking that all systems and fittings on the car meet Australian Design Rules (ADR's). For example a used vehicle imported from Japan that was manufactured in 1995 must meet all the ADR's that were applicable to vehicles sold in Australia in 1995. Vehicles that are imported must also be unmodified and as they were when originally manufactured. Vehicles that do not meet all the ADR's are fitted with parts such as child restraint anchorages and exhaust system catalytic converters to make them compliant. Once a vehicle has been complied and fitted with a compliance plate it can be modified just like any other Australian vehicle.
Our dealership is not like most used car dealerships. We do not push the purchaser into making a decision that they are not comfortable with. Our knowledgeable and trained staff will help you make the right choice at your own pace. We are more than happy to answer any questions you have when making your decision.
If we do not have a vehicle in stock that meets your needs we can import one for you that does!
Test drives are available to all purchasers as well as independent vehicle inspections. If you arrange to have a vehicle inspected by someone such as the NRMA we will agree to fix any defects before the car is delivered to you. Most of our vehicles are less than ten years old and come with a full dealer warranty that covers absolutely everything on the vehicle, for your peace of mind.
“My experience of buying a car on Parramatta road was an absolute nightmare. So when I formed this business later with my partners I made absolutely certain that our company would strive to make car purchasing an exciting and enjoyable process.” Ben Wilmot - Managing Director.
